We're still well into The Golden Compass, but we still need to choose the next novel! Based on
submissions in the forums and and choices by me and Tom, we've created a poll. It will be open for the next 4 days, so make your choice!
UPDATE: Oops. I'm my rushed state, I wrote "
iRobot" instead of the correct "I, Robot." Someone has gadgets on the brain, huh? ;)

Ouch, only me and (currently) three other people have voted for Childhood's End? To be honest I've never heard of it before, but I just read a pretty interesting synopsis.. hence my vote.
Ender's is awesome, as is Dune. Not familiar with Radio Free, but not opposed... I, Robot on the other hand I'm not too interested in reading again. I don't necessarily think it's a bad book, but if you ask me Foundation blows it completely out of the water.
why not finish the His Dark Material trilogy? I hate starting something and stopping in the middle.
I like the idea of alternating between "sword" and "laser." I love "Ender" and "Dune" but have read both multiple times already - so I voted for "Radio free" just because I haven't read it yet.
I voted for Radio Free only because it's the only one I haven't read already. Dune was good but no way am I reading it again. Ender's Game was good buy I just read it like 6 months ago. Childhood's End was really cool.
Well, the only one I -haven't- read is "Radio Free Albemuth" so I guess I vote for it.
I've always liked the other Philip Dick stories I have read. However, I probably still have the other books around, and "Ender's Game" is so good it would be a pleasure to reread it. If you like it I'll also recommend the Alvin Maker series, a different kind of story, but just as enjoyable for me...
I would like to vote for Dune. I own it and haven't read it, and I would like to read it with others and touch up on my classics.
Yeah, I would vote for Radio Free Albemuth, because I haven't read it either. Though, I have read quite a bit of Phil D.
I figured everyone had already read Ender's Game, but it was probably my fav sci fi novel.
Orson Scott Card is an incredible author, unfortunately he is a bigot.
See for yourself, in his own words... http://www.nauvoo.com/library/card-hypocrites.html
"This applies also to the polity, the citizens at large. Laws against homosexual behavior should remain on the books, not to be indiscriminately enforced against anyone who happens to be caught violating them, but to be used when necessary to send a clear message that those whoflagrantly violate society's regulation of sexual behavior cannot be permitted to remain as acceptable, equal citizens within that society."
I don't have a problem with separating an artist with his art, I just don't think we should give him any more money. It is a really good book.

If you liked _Childhood's End_, you should check out Robert Charles Wilson's _The Harvest_ which is very much based on Clarke's book.
It's not iRobot. It is I, Robot.
I liked Childhood's End and would love to vote for it but (feeling retarded) I have no idea how! hehehe This club sounds like its gonna rock to no end.
@paul - no kidding. didn't you see the last line in that post?!
I think we should read I, Robot. I never have read it, and it seems like a good book...
I vote for I, Robot.
Second vote would be for Ender's Game.
[...] next book has been voted on, and it’s going to be Ender’s Game, by Orson Scott Card. It’s strangely [...]
A little Heinlein? a litttle 60's counter culture? Stranger in a Strange Land.
Sorry, I vote for Dune.
